Hi. I need company list function for a WordPress site listed in categories and with a free text search options. All data are stored in a MySQL DB. Functionality needed: 1. Admin page to add,edit,list, search – categories and company 2. Search page to be used in WordPress site with the following search functionality: a. List Categories in boxes and a free text search field in top. User presses categorie og input a search text and press go b. All Companys are listed that matched the category or search. Every output should be made responsive so site can be shown on both mobile and desktop devices. Please specify in response how you plan to implement this. My thoughts regarding this is : 1. The admin page I see as a separate PHP page called outside WordPress 2. The search/result should run inside Wordpress. I see two options a. Run the code directly inside wordpress. Paste code into a PHP field b. Run the code as a plugin. The page where I intent to run the search/result page is : [login to view URL] Password : dragoer Further description can be found in the attached document. Hi there, #1. The admin page I see as a separate PHP page called outside WordPress As i have reviewed you project details in depth along with your attachment. you need a plugin/section where admin can add, edit, delete companies data with categories and it will be on a separate URL from WordPress dashboard. #2. The search/result should run inside Wordpress. I see two options I will create PHP tag or Shortcode that can be used directly into WordPress template. Hi, here's the plan - 1. Company will be a custom post type (similar to post), and you will manage it with a similar management panel like post. 2. Category will be a custom taxonomy (similar to post category). 3. Category editing/creation page will have field to add icon, category name and order/position. 4. You will use shortcode to place company listing and search on a WordPress page. 5. Company grid/list will be made responsive to make it fit in all devices. Hi, i have read your detail, I will make a plugin for wordpress with your needed staf, yiou just install the plugin on any wordpress site and you can then add listing from wordpress admin. and for search page just add a shortcode systep, so you just put short code on any wp page and it will work as search page. let me know is it good for you, or you have any other thoughts.
