Hi there. I have read through your project description and I'm confident that this is something I can help you get fixed once and for all. My approach to this would be to create a WordPress plugin (just a single file plugin) and use that plugin to detect the price currency from the URL and then use sessions to hold that currency for the remainder of that user's visit. I would use the WooCommerce filter for changing the currency as I imagine you're currently using.
