Research Corporate Bond Database Services Find and get pricing from five different corporate bond database services. This is a research project that involves using google to find the data providers then contacting each data provider via email or by phone for pricing. If the data provider asks (sometimes it affects pricing) the database will be used internally for research by one person. To complete this project for each data provider (five total) you must provide: The name the company providing the service. A URL to a web page describing the service. The subscription price. Whether the subscription is monthly, quarterly, or yearly. A sales contact name/phone/email. A brief description of the format of the data. A brief description of how the data is accessed. How often the data is updated and when. Pricing must be in the form of a flat rate subscription. No per query charges, per symbol charges, or per time series charges allowed. We are not looking for a "screen" or "terminal". The data must be accessible via FTP or HTTP. The format must be CSV, tab delimited, XML, or other standardized computer readable text format; not a web page meant to be read by people. Access must not require use of a program running under Windows. The database must contain the following data for each bond: Symbol (i.e. [login to view URL]) Par Value (typically $1000 for normal corporate bonds) Coupon Yield (interest payments i.e. 2.5 percent) Maturity Date (i.e. 15-Jul-2006) Debt Rating (i.e. rating AAA, specify which service(s)) Coupon Payment Frequency (i.e. Semi-Annual) First Coupon Date (i.e. 15-Jul-2003) Type (i.e. Corporate if the database also contains other types of bonds) Callable (yes or no) Convertable, Conversion Ratio, Conversion Symbol ## Deliverables A list of five data providers that meet the criteria in the project description with all the details required in the project description. ## Platform Linux/Unix
