Midi-Mapper Utility for XP

Our church needs a utility to duplicate the function of Microsoft's midi-mapper back under windows 98 and 3.1 It has since disappeared from the Windows operating system and we need it back! We will use the freeware software "junction box" Midi-Yoke (h[ttp://[login to view URL]][1] to redirect all midi messages to the utility you will create for us. Your utility will then allow us in real time to: remap channels, send patches, etc - in keeping with the function of the old midi-mapper. Our application: We have a software program that plays worship music, via midi files, in real time. The windows XP environment sometimes ignores the patches with which the original midi files were created. Sometimes, we'd also like to hear a trumpet instead of a pipe organ. This utility will sit between our worship music program and allow us in real time to apply the patches and remap channels in accordance with our needs. It doesn't need to be too flashy - just effective. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows 2000, XP and above.
