Project of a Software Suite for functional Magnetic Resonance for delivering audio-video stimuli to the patient by the way of a [login to view URL] suite is composed by two distinct applications: AuthoringSW and Session/PlayerSW. The presentation is governed by time: each file (text, imagem movie or sound) has to be presented at a well defined time and for a well defined time interval. Time Step are in milliseconds or in TR (in millisecond, i.e. 2000 ms). For text there must be integrated a simple text [login to view URL] AuthoringSW will work like Music Program multi track with a timeline on which the user place multimedial events. There must be the possibility to insert general group of multimedial events (5 images or sounds for 5TR, each per TR random from a file set). These blocks are called TASK. Each project is called PARADIGM and concerns into some periods without any delivering (black screen with a centred red cross) alternate to task periods. There must be the possibility of having the preview and of play (in AutoringSW in a full screen). Each Paradigm has to be saved with all sources (images, sounds, movie and text) embedded. The Session/Player has to work as a patient database (each patient with his personal data must have multiple sessions, each per functional Magnetic Resonance) and has to play the Paradigms previous imported or present on the system. There must be the possibility of monitoring the paradigm delivery with a real time displayed log file with the possibility to read and record into the log file some patient’s response by a 10 button mouse with a precise indications of time event (delivery and patient’s response). There users create new patient, add new session, use more paradigms in the same session and save the log file (each per paradigm per session per patient). All these data must be stored in an exportable and importable (for backup) [login to view URL]: WinXP and Linux. File: png, bmp, jpg, mpeg, avi, wav,.mp3.
