This project can be described as a rental network. It has to be easy for the people who want to rent out their apartment, houses/villas, holiday houses and caravans, to connect with a potential renter and vice versa. This means that there will be two types of profiles on the network. A renter and a landlord. The location of the network will be Faroe Islands, which is an independent country and part of the Danish kingdom. On the front page there will be a map of the country, split into regions and then you have to choose the region in which you want a house. This is a very important piece of the website, because it will be easier to search for your required house in exactly the region you want to live in. This is a very small country, only about 50.000 inhabitans, therefore it is the simplest way to do the search engine. We will of course give you all the information that you need. General expectations: - A modern and good looking website whit an elegant touch. - User friendly - Easy to administrate Functionality • Log in system: Renters, Landlords, Admin and we want a profile page for each of those three profiles with all the relevant informations that they require. • Payment system: Users will not be able to see contact info for the landlord unless they pay for contact info (address, telephone, email etc.) Landlords will have a function that will allow them to buy a advertising spot on the frontpage. • SMS function to notify the landlords if they get an offer. • Search engine o Renter searching for apartments, houses/villas, holiday houses and caravans o Landlords searching for renters o Timeframe for rent, price, type and size o Split into regions • Great photo functionality. • Map of location – what is close to the flat, ex: Bus stops, shops, sightseeing and so on • Description of what is being rentet – size, location, facilities etc. • Social media integration – facebook, twitter etc. But what we really need is a developer that knows the business and who are able to come with suggestions and alternatives to the ideas and design that we already have in mind. We have a couple of other specific requirements that we need implemented in our website, but that will be discussed once a bid is accepted.
