We require a black-box set of routines written in vb6 to update Great Plains. We have about 20 functions that need to be performed. For example, we need to be able to send 20 fields from a vb6 application and have this black-box routine create an invoice in Great Plains. You would have nothing to do with sending the fields, only receiving the fields, creating the invoice, and returning a status. Another example is, we need to be able to send a customer code from a vb6 application and have it return some customer information from Great Plains. When i say black-box, what i am saying is that the integration points with Great Plains are completely contained in your routines. I only say i want to create an invoice....i do not care how you talk to great plains. The reason i want it in vb6 is for maintability AFTER WE ARE ALL DONE. ****I EXPECT THERE TO BE QUESTIONS BACK AND FORTH. FOR EXAMPLE, FIELDS THAT I NEED TO SEND THAT I AM NOT SENDING OR FIELDS THAT YOU CANT UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO WITH......I DO NOT EXPECT YOU TO WORK IN A VACUUM AT ALL..... Attached is the full list of functions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
