I'm a programmer but I'm busy working during the day. I have an idea for a website. A simple idea. People register and tell us what movies, books, and music they like. We store that info. When I get enough people I can then help people find movies they have not seen that they will probably like, books they have not read that they will probably like, music ... because our database will compare people. It's pretty obvious how it will work. If you and I each read 10 books and out of those 10, 4 are the same and we scored them the same then maybe you will like the books I scored high and I might like your books ... algorithim will have to be tweaked as site grows and site must grow to work. I envision being able to add categories (books, music, etc.) I ONLY want a programmer to help me develop THOSE REQUIREMENTS that we always ask for and never get. I will also need help in determining how we will build the databases of movies, books, and music. Can I buy them? Are they available for free? We need to create database schemas and plan on classes and functions. No programming. Just develop a plan for a programmer to follow. I will then put this up as the requirements to build this and you can bid on this. I will use a Wiki for this. I use the tavi wiki and I already have it ready. You and I will be building up the requirements through this wiki
