**Link Popularity Script** We need a server-based script that will check link popularity for domain names on selectable SE’s. The selection should be written to a user-stored cookie. The script should have a screen-based result and an email based result. The email-based result should be optional (or forced by admin). The email format (text/html) is selectable by user. The user can select to be included on a mail list as well. If the user selects this then the script will send a mail to a predefined opt-in email address with the users email address and the domain tested. The script will offer that X more domains can be checked (optional). The output will produce a list with x results. The results from the test will be sorted with pre made results stored in a text file. The text file can contain x lines with a test results. The output from the test will be sorted with the pre made results from the text file. It is extremely important that the check is done in the shortest possible time (probably not more than 2-3 seconds). Therefore the script must be able to conduct several checks simultaneously. The full result will be stored in MySQL. The script will have an admin area where several options and setup parameters can be easily maintained. The background on the different result lines can be defined so results with a link popularity from 0 to 250 have #FFFFFF color, 251 to 500 have another color and so on. The script can check X domains and X as set in admin will determine how many text field boxes that will appear in the input screen. A CSS should be used for formats. Each user IP # shall be recorded in MySQL. Maximum # of checks allowed from one IP # within a 24 hour period to be set in admin. A list containing domains that cannot be checked should be maintained by admin (list/add/delete). Messages and error messages will be defined in a text file or MySQL. The following SE should be checked; Google / AOL, AlltheWeb, AltaVista, Inktomi, MSN, FAST / Lycos, Ask Jeeves / Teoma, HotBot. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site). There are more features we need to be implemented at a later stage so the programmer must indicate interest on working with us on this and other projects. ## Platform Perl / CGI or PHP.
