Easy for a person who knows php and mysql.
I'm using a shopping cart system, SquirrelCart ([login to view URL]) and it works well for what we need it for. But I need a mod for it.
The system has in place an "order status" module but is a bit clunky. This just simply changes an entry in the database from one value to another reflecting the "order status".
Basically all this project entails is making a separate section that changes the order status of the orders, as to avoid having to go into the shopping cart control panel to change it that way.
I've gone ahead and create all the needed html files, they are in the attachment. There are 6 files:
[login to view URL] - We'll need to have a login to the directory stored so that random people cannot login to change the status of orders.
[login to view URL] - on this page, an admin will be able to type in the order number and then manually select the appropriate order status.
[login to view URL] - this page will simply change the order status to "Order Placed" to the order number supplied in the field.
[login to view URL] - this page will simply change the order status to "Prepress Complete" to the order number supplied in the field.
[login to view URL] - this page will simply change the order status to "Order Printed" to the order number supplied in the field.
[login to view URL] - this page will simply change the order status to "Order Shipped" to the order number supplied in the field.
A few more things:
I don't want any modifications to the original shopping cart files themselves.
I'm providing the html files for the modification and the complete shopping cart system, to be installed on your local server for testing ONLY.
Let me know any questions - would like to get this going this week.
Thanks
