Ecommerce Website

We require an experienced website designer to create an elegant, professional ecommerce website for a growing gift and services company. Because our deadline is not flexible, the relationship with the chosen coder will be probabationary for the first 7 days of the project. If work is not progressing appropriately, the coder will be paid for usable work completed to that point, and released from the project. For the right coder, this will be the beginning of an ongoing relationship leading to further projects. Outstanding work will be rewarded. For the project, we will provide a general description of the company and the products, along with a logo. Provided also are links to sites that we find desireable to give the coder an idea of the expectation level. Please review the following links before bidding on the project. We will expect the designer to develop a customer site that will include colors, graphics and other images that will compliment the style of the logo and the company. In addition, we require an “Administrative portion?? to be created. This part of the project should be clean, professional, visually appealing and very easy to navigate. Content will be provided, however it will be up to the designer to organize and layout the content in an effective, and attractive manner. (Copying and pasting text onto an otherwise blank page is not acceptable!) **The ideal candidate for this project:** Will be very comfortable using Photoshop, or other professional web design authoring tool and will have previous experience designing websites in a similar manner. Previous experience with JSP is also required. Experience with jakarta struts would be helpful. Will be an independent thinker, flexible, creative, an excellent communicator and will take initiative.
