Hello,
I am needing a php programmer who has good knowledge of html and ajax (read on).
The project is for university students and will create a 'works cited' page for essays that the students write. The script will take in input about the book, resource, website that the student quotes in their essay (student will input this data) and will format the data in the correct layout for certain citation styles (MLA, APA, Chicago style, etc).
I added ajax to the project description because I would like the student to be able to add books to their citation list and make it as easy as possible, just click, add, and the page updates without refreshing. The focus is on user friendliness and usability.
An example of this type of service would be [login to view URL] which follows the same idea but has a tedious interface that just does 1 citation at a time and doesnt output your final list.
PM for more information or if you have questions. Payment will be escrowed and released when the full 100% completed project is demoed on your own server.
Hi, We have over 5 years of experience of web designing, search engine optimisation and web programming on php and other web technologies and programmed many applications. We are confident to complete this project with in budget and time. Thanks.
- Nice, professional, and easy to use interface (having studied HCI). - With any language you want, you just name it. I recommend Java though. - I'll take care of researching. You just name the formats you need. - You can keep the well designed and documented code for reusability. Allowing other developers to extend it in future. +$50 An extra online version (you need hosting for that). +$100 Totally customizable ( you can create, remove, and modify formats without having to know programming or to see code, rather, from an outside .txt/.ini/.xml file).
Hi,
I am a Student at SFU in Vancouver, Canada and so am familiar with citation styles. I am also familiar with a very similar package called RefWorks, that would probably help.
I would like to be considered for this project.
Thank You
Thomas
