We are building a website for a church. You can see the development version here: www.cornerstoneonline.com. If you go to I'm New, you'll see in the left-hand column at the bottom it's showing several upcoming scheduling items. Right now, that's static HTML.
The real calendar data is managed by an application called ServiceU. ([login to view URL]) We need to modify the HTML on each of the pages to use their API to call in the appropriate scheduling items. We've crafted the call for each page on the site (see attached).
There will also be a master calendar page that is searchable and can be viewed either as a calendar (default) or in a list like the event lists on the individual pages. The design also uses modal pop ups for specific event details.
I'm attaching the instructions from ServiceU for their API plus the list of links for the specific list of links you'll need. You won't need to do the HTML or CSS; that is done or being done. Just need you to write the API calls for each of the calendar snippets on the site, plus the master calendar of events and the code so that if someone clicks on an event, it pops up a modal pop up with the details pulled from the ServiceU database.
Additionally, on the Give page, there's a log in box. We need code written to call the API of Fellowship One ([login to view URL]) so that it uses the log info to log in the user into Fellowship One's system to make a donation or review their past donations. These links will tell you what's involved:
