Web site design for small business

Senet Entertainment is looking for a great web designer to work with us closely to build the first production-quality version of our small business web site. Senet rents portable movie theaters (Senet MicroTheatre&trade;) and portable PC gaming clusters (Senet GameHex&trade;) for parties, business events, trade shows, and entertainment venues. Attached to this bid proposal is a Word document site specification; <b>READ THE ATTACHMENT</b> before considering bidding on this project. The focus of this project is on graphic design and layout, not coding; we have in-house HTML / PHP / database resources but lack the cosmetic and aesthetic finesse required. Additional artist samples of the equipment used in our service will be provided to inquiring bidders. Please respond with a project cost estimate, links to samples of previous work, and additional questions you have about our business and service offering. (Not all information about the business is included in the site specification, for privacy and to test your thoroughness. :) In total, there will be about 30 pages that need to be created...though many of those are derived from a common template. Although I will be owning the actual text content of the pages, language skills on the part of the designer are also very important to me. You can view our current website at <a href="[login to view URL]">[login to view URL]</a> for an excellent example of what I do <b>not</b> want. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. This includes original Photoshop or other graphic file format sources. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows: For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Our current web server is RedHat Linux / Apache with PHP, Perl, and MySQL support. Also supports CGI-BIN, SSI. Preferred deliverable would only use HTML, PHP, and/or MySQL. Supported browsers should include all major Windows, Mac, and Linux clients (IE, Safari, Opera, etc.)
