Voip integration to MS Access

I have an MS Access Customer Database. I want to link this database with a SIP softphone. This will allow me to click on a control within access to send a telephone number make a call on the softphone and secondly, when a call comes into the softphone I require an event to be triggered within Access so that the database can go to the record relating to the incoming caller. The users of this database do not currently use voip and so I felt that a softphone would be simple to set up and operate. I understand that there are a number of free softphones available with development kits. Xten is one that I have looked at although I am open to suggestions if other softphones are more convenient and equally cost effective. I expect that this is a simple project for someone who has worked with softphones before. Although I do not require any work with my database in Access I will require an Access module to be written with two routines: One routine to make a call and one routine that is called with an incoming caller number. I can supply a simple Access database for test purposes. If you have any questions please contact me. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
