There is an Access database that was converted from Paradox several years ago. It is used by a local utility department to keep inventory of transformers, capacitors, and breakers. I worked on it 4 years ago, but it has been "pieced" together so many times over the years, the boss decided that it was best to rewrite it completely.
Most of the tables are not normalized, and have no primary keys. Some are huge, having over 30 fields. The table structures and data entry forms will need to be completely redone to prevent user errors, such as duplicate records, etc.
I can send the entire database to the selected coder, and we can consult on what needs to be revised, and what can be kept. I will include sample records only, not the thousands of records that are actually in the db now.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in database format (.mdb) as well as complete source code of all work done. No Non-Disclosure agreement is needed, but the Seller may not keep any of the Access data. Also, the only contact may be with the Buyer only (no contact with any other personnel using the database or persons related to the local utility using this database.)
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows:
All Access objects (forms, queries, tables with sample data, reports, modules) must be included in the complete MS Access database requested. No type of setup program is required.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
## Platform
Will be used on Windows 2000 and Windows XP machines. The version of Access used is Access 2002, however, all databases that this office uses
*will be opened in Access **2000** format* only.
