Dynamic pop up menu of directory scan

I need a dynamic multi-level hierarchical popup menu, allowing the user to select a menu item from the menu, and return as a result the path of menu items selected. The position of the menu should be near the mouse or the button that pops up the menu. The menu items are determined by scanning a directory. Any files in the directory with names matching *.mbx will create a menu item (the file name minus the extension) that can be directly selected. Any directories named *.fol will create an entry in the menu with the file name minus the extension that is a submenu (it should have the -> type symbol on the right of the menu item). If that is selected then that particular subdirectory is to be scanned (lazy evaluation) and a submenu created and popped up (windows should take care of the location of this submenu). This can continue several levels deep. Once a leaf mbx node is selected, the full path is collected in an ArrayList of strings which are accessible to the calling code. This menu should be brought up with a button. In addition to the mbx and fol entries in the menu, the first item in the menu should always be New... The functionality of New for this project is just to pop up a dialog with an ArrayList member containing the path thus far. (You can display the path thus far in any way that makes sense to you for debugging). There should be a text box in which the user can type a string that will be added to the end of the ArrayList. Pressing OK on this dialog ends the interaction, bringing both the dialog and the menu down and returning the ArrayList including what was added. The main dialog should display the ArrayList in a listbox or rtf text box after the interaction is finished. So the main dialog should have just the button that starts the interaction, and the display of the string array result. If there is any confusion about what is required, the functionality required is similar to that of Eudora in the Filters Dialog when selecting a Transfer To... action. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Windows .NET (XP is fine) C#
