IT research project: information architecture

**What I need done:** I need **primary research** done to identify the key challenges in establishing an IT enterprise information integration architecture that supports both structured, semi-structured and unstructured data. The keywords for the project are: - document management, data management, data architecture, content management, data warehousing, business intelligence, plus any other concepts you think are pertinent to unstructured data. I am looking for original writing (no cut-and-paste), preferably based on hands-on experience. Any quoted material should be explicitly referenced. I expect it will take no more than 5 hrs to complete the project, and the resulting document will be about 6 pages long. For interested applicants, please list relevant expertise and/or indicate the items in your portfolio that demonstrate subject-matter expertise. **What I already have versus what the provider will build:** I am familiar with IT enterprise architecture and do not need term definitions. **Specific expertise that I am seeking:** Enterprise information integration (EII), IT enterprise architecture, data architecture, technical architecture, application architecture **Timeframe for delivery:** 1 week (it should take about 5 hrs of work, spread over one week) ## Deliverables 1) I am looking for approx. 15 paragraphs, each paragraph styled as follows: <key challenge short description>: <key challenge in-depth description>. <describe in what context is that type of challenge encountered ??" large organizations, federal, specific industry or sector, etc.> <can the challenge be mitigated and in what way ??" people, process, tools ??" please describe> <if there are any tools available that can help mitigate the challenge, list tools with brief comments on the relevant tool capabilities> <include URLs for any online articles, tool websites, vendor websites that have been used as raw material for the content of this paragraph> 2) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law.
