I am working on a project with a client who is planning a development using Microsoft WPF and they want to integrate Microsoft Office 2010. I understand that there may be some challenges with that approach such as getting WPF to work with Office 2010 or it may lead to adopting SharePoint, which the client does not want to do.
What I am looking for is for someone to write a paper aimed at an audience that is semi-technical and non-technical, which considers the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (risks) of heading down a path of developing in WPF with Microsoft Office 2010 integration.
I'm looking for someone that has a detailed understanding of Microsoft WPF and Microsoft Office 2010 object models and integration.
When I say Office 2010, the client is mainly looking for Word integration because the application is compliance based and records go hand-in-hand with correspondence so they want the information to be the same as is in the database and also work with word, which they use on a day to day basis.
One or more examples of applications that have achieved this would be beneficial as well as some example of code would be useful.
I'm anticipating the document would be between 15-20 pages.
