I'm seeking a solid VB.NET/ASP.NET development firm to help migrate an existing VB.NET onto an ASP.NET environment. Unfortunately, we had a RAC developer working on it for approx 4 months who helped complete the client and did the webservices for the app. However family concerns forced him to walk away. And our second RAC developer totally flaked on us. So now we are seeking a larger company (who can obviously complete projects even if 1 developer bails out) to help build and longer-term maintain the system. Note that the second developer has done *some* work on the ASP migration, but I am unsure how far he has gotten. He was trying to implement the ASP UI using the Infragistics NetAdvantage presentation layer toolset. Here is the original project post. === We have a client app written in vb.net (uses some webservices already written and live on a central IIS server). We need to port the vb.net app to run smoothly on asp.net as a web app. This will involve migrating portions of a client-side access database into a central MySQL database (there are already tables live there). The app can leverage existing webservices that already are live on web server. We are looking for a rapid deployment to asp.net which will retain as much of the UI look and feel (and functionality) as possible. App consists of approx 20 forms, about half of which have extensive client-side logic and half are presentation only. Full source will be provided for both client, helper services, and web services.
