I operate an established and rapidly growing CPC Advertising Website. Due to the company's growth I require an individual who can manage all of our technical needs. This position is about (1/3 full time). You can make your own schedule as long as all tasks are completed in timely fashion. Expert level technical knowledge is required in PHP, MySQL, iis, and Web Development. You should be familiar with administering Windows and Linux servers. It is also helpful if you have experience administrating payment system gateways like 2checkout and VeriSign. It is a huge plus if you have positive feedback on Scriptlance. The applicant should be confident in fully completing assigned tasks. For example in the event of a problem with our dedicated server, the applicant should be comfortable communicating with the hosting company. Or if you detect a problem with our payment gateway you would be responsible with working with tech support to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. In addition to small tasks that I assign you, it will be your responsibility to address day to day technical operations. For example you will constantly monitor and improve efficiency while also addressing any technical issues reported by the site's customers. Examples of small tasks that you might be assigned: 1.) Allow the site's publishers to specify how many CPC ad blocks that they want to appear on their site. 2.) Modify the site to not count clicks from countries notorious for click fraud. 3. Auto send emails out to advertisers if a competitor has outbid them for particular keyword. Examples of larger tasks that you might be assigned. 1.) Improve the advertiser or publisher interface so it is easier to use. 2.) Modify the relevancy engine so that certain keywords are linked to other keywords. 3.) Change the site's payment gateway. Examples of Day to Day tasks. 1.) You observe that our ads are taking a long time to show on publisher's pages, so you assess the problem and take corrective action. 2.) A customer reports a billing error, so you investigate. 3. You have a cool new idea for the site so you tell me about it. 4. You will also screen and reply to some customer emails. This job requires a lot of responsibility, but you will also have a lot of freedom. On average you will have about 1 to 2 hours of work each day. However you can work so that it accommodates your schedule. Essentially you will be the Lead developer/web master. On average it is unlikely that you will have to work more than 30 hours a month. Please bid for your hourly rate. After choosing the developer I will escrow the funds for 30 hours of work. For extra work and larger projects you will be issued a bonus.
