Full-time work-from-home Perl programmer wanted

**Job description:** We are a high paced and energetic Singapore company that focuses on technology to drive our business objectives. We are seeking a full-time work-from-home Perl programmer with the passion, commitment, intelligence and skills to help us expand and launch our various current and new businesses. You will be working on small- to large-scale projects using Perl to enhance and expand the features and scope of our current application software, as well as create new application software. You will be working from your home and corresponding via email, video conferencing and / or instant messaging with our Project Manager who will supply you with very detailed written software specifications. **Requirements:** • Trustworthy, reliable, responsible • Committed, motivated, disciplined, passionate about Perl programming • Intelligent, work smart and not work blindly, and correct the software specifications where necessary • 2+ years of Perl programming experience preferred, but exceptional Perl programmers with no working experience will be considered • Proficient in Perl, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Microsoft Access • Able to work on and build upon our existing Perl code • Able to develop efficient code • Able to stress-test and debug your own code • Able to work as part of a team as well as manage projects on your own • Able to work fast and meet deadlines • Good communication skills in written English, and preferably in spoken English too • Work from your home (overseas applicants welcome) • Able to start work immediately If you are confident that you are ready for such new and exciting challenges, please email your resume, recent colour photograph, current and expected salary in US dollars or Singapore dollars. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
