Hi There, Forward compatibility is not there. We have two options 1) Create SQL from 2019 and execute SQL on 2012/2018. 2) Restore 2019 DB again on 2019 with compatibility of 2012/2018 and try to create backup and restore on 2012/2018. Hello, I'm senior DBA, I can help you with the database transfer between servers. From what I've understand, you're trying to transfer DBs from Development (2019) to Production (2012). I'm afraid that restoring .BAK file from newer SQL to older one, is not possible, due to the compatibility. It works other way around, but not to version below. There are other ways to do that.
