Hi there!
I make math videos on YouTube. I’m hoping to find someone who is great at math, and also great at Matlab!
I will want someone that I work well with, since I hope to make many videos.
Here is the first task.
I need to graph a surface. Let’s say z=f(x,y)=x^2-y^2.
Then, I need to see the image of (g(t),h(t)) on that surface, where g(t)=e^t and h(t)=sin(t). LEt’s only concern ourselves with t values from 0 to 2pi.
Finally, I would like to help students visualize how the derivative is defined for points along this surface (but restricted to the image of the aforementioned parametric condition). To do this, I’d like to graph the line between (g(t),h(t)) and (g(t+a),h(t+a)) and have a slider so I can show them what happens to this line, in 3D, as a -> 0.
Please include your quote, and any screenshots of your finished work! Happy to answer any questions.
Cheers,
Sheldon
Hello, my name's Jorge, I am electronics engineer with experience programming embedded devices.
In my career I have used MATLAB very frequently, so I have experience managing the software.
I have done multiple projects in MATLAB and I am happy to show you when you communicate with me. In my profile you can get several positive reviews in projects related to MATLAB
Please share with me more details to see how can I help you.
Contact me to discuss anything, I'd be glad to answer your questions.
Thanks for your time
Hello I am a Physics university student so firstly I'd like to say that I value what you are doing for your students a lot trying to help them understand a slightly abstract concept, it goes a long way. Secondly I can do everything you said except for creating a slider for the "a" value, however I can try to find out how to do it while doing the rest, or just do the first part for you. I've had 2 courses of Matlab at University and plenty of Mathematic courses from basic to advanced. Feel free to message me if you want to discuss the project or know more about me. Hope to hear from you soon, thank you for your time.
