This is a project for stabilising a SATCOM dish antenna on board a marine platform in roll, pitch and yaw. The satcom dish has to always point towards the satellite countering the ship movement. This requires calculation of elevation and azimuth angles for the dish to point towards the antenna. we are assuming circular polarisation. Matlab code for calculating azimuth and elevation angle, doing coordinate transform for roll and pitch and compensating for yaw in the end is there with me. I need to put this in simulink model. the model has a dish antenna mounted on a platform. the model should have user input for the GPS posn of the dish, satellite longitude, course and speed of the platform. then it should take feed of roll, pitch and yaw in terms of sinusiodal waves with max limits and time duration, which can be varied matlab simulink model for a 3 axis stabilised antenna for a marine platform. one narrrow beam should join the dish and the satellite and at the end the dish should keep pointing towards the satellite (i.e the beam should always point to the satellite). At each stage the output should be visible. I can forward the matlab code if required.
