Write software to transfer text from Google Doc to INDD CC 2017

This script will transfer text from Google Doc to INDD, while removing certain pieces of text, and formatting other pieces of text. See the screenshots attached. I currently pay for a service called DocsFlow ([login to view URL]) to sync the highlighted text in the Google Doc with the text frame in the INDD doc Screen Shot 2017-08-23 at 9.08.05 [login to view URL] Screen Shot 2017-08-23 at 9.12.01 [login to view URL] So the result looks like this: Screen Shot 2017-08-23 at 9.12.41 [login to view URL] The problem is that DocsFlow is not a customizable service, and I need the text to be changed a bit when it is transferred from Docs -> INDD Here are the rules for changes: All of the text highlighted in red should NOT be transferred. (Also, the images should not be transferred.) Screen Shot 2017-08-23 at 9.15.11 [login to view URL] All of the text highlighted in blue should be transferred BUT it should be changed like this .text. with a period inserted on either side of the text highlighted in blue. So far, the result should look like this: Screen Shot 2017-08-23 at 9.19.58 [login to view URL] Then, the script needs to format all of the text in the text frame with a certain paragraph style: "Coming up - body". So far, it will look like this: Screen Shot 2017-08-23 at 9.25.16 [login to view URL] Then, the script needs to change the paragraph style for every paragraph that begins with the characters ">>" to the paragraph style called "Coming up - details". It will change all of the text between the two periods (inclusive) to the character style called "Coming up - black highlighted text".
