We developed a player to run on the raspberry pi 2+, this palyer is based on electron (nodejs + chromium / V8 engine), but have poor performance when trying to run any video. We found that the application is not using the GPU as it is when we try to use the ORANGE PI 2, the GPU MALI 400 is not used and the performance with videos is very low. We need to enable the use of GPU and increased performance when we run videos on the player.

Hi; I assume you run your build on x server, not a framebuffer like SDL. I also assume you have set the drivers correctly. Issues can be many, most probably electron's chromium component built without opengl es support. I can fix the problem. I can also build a minimal buildroot image that boots under few seconds with added performance for an extra fee. Please give me detailed info what you've done (like the rpi image you're using-like you are using raspian or a custom-made linux os) We can discuss details, and if you have questions, I'm here to answer.
