Holiday/Vacation Management and Authorisation DotNetNuke (DNN) module

A DotNetNuke module that allows the management and authorisation of holiday/vacation requests Requirements 1. Each staff member is allocated a number of holidays to take per year 2. Holiday year starts on 1st May, but can be amended. 3. Allow to enter Employee start dates so holidays can be calculated based on when they joined 4. Part time staff holiday is prorated based on their hours, so a mathematical calculation is used to determine how many days holiday they are allowed each year. 5. Users can submit holiday requests, specifying the start date and end dates 6. Half days can be taken 7. Each user can have multiple line managers who can authorise their request 8. Configurable multiple levels of authorisation per user (i.e. line manager says yes, then their line manager has to confirm ok) 9. Users cannot request more holiday than their entitled too 10. Users can view a calendar showing their holidays and their other users in their department 11. Calendar is colour code based on its status, i.e. been taken, authorised or rejected 12. Line Managers can view a calendar seeing all their employees holidays 13. Line managers can either authorise, reject or cancel holiday requests 14. Line managers can enter comments to specify why requests were rejected or cancelled. 15. Holiday requests are emailed and can be authorised or rejected via a link in the email. This needs to be secure, perhaps line manager has to enter password to confirm. 16. Bulk authorise/reject requests page 17. Calendar/Report to show outstanding holiday requests, days taken, left to take, etc. 18. Resend button to prompt line manager to authorise. 19. Leave types – Holiday, compassion, sick, etc. 20. Each staff member can see how many days left they have to take and used. 21. Options to allow staff to carry over holiday? 22. Pending or authorised requests can be cancelled. 23. Requests cannot be amended once authorised, they have to be cancelled by the line manager then a new one submitted. 24. Fully audited 25. Admin pages to set line management 26.
