Hello, I have read and got the basic idea that you have non AMR water meter and you want exact same feature implementation where it remotely reads customer meters and then transfers the data into billing system right? Hi. I am Aurimas, software engineer. It is possible to have a camera and record everything, then detect numbers with OCR. But I want to suggest another solution, drill the hole on 2M+ water meter, and install arduino (other mini robot) to calculate turnaround of number axis. Add me to discuss about solution.
