This sounds perfect! I adore Pedro Serapicos work and what I do is somewhat similar to Emily Gravett's style. There are some of my latest drawings posted here at freelancer.com portfolio secton, but I'd be more then happy to provide a sample illustrations, as the author of the children's book I'm illustraing now requested a completely different style and approach (Bill Peet feel)not very appropriate for your project. I would so much enjoy working on this that you can be sure I'd be totally dedicated and inspired. For a package of 44 illustrations I would need no less then three months, although I would feel comfortable with 120 days, given as you say, that we have the board done and agreed upon. The fee would depend on the medium, level of complexity you request and size of the illustrations. For the sake of orientation, my current fee for mixed media full bleed illustrations (pencil and ink pen) done by hand (as I prefer to work manually, occasionally only colour with computer) for 8 X10 picture book is 120 USD, but for a smaller number of illustrations. However, this project is so awesome that I'm sincerely open to all kinds of arrangement.
