Require an experienced illustrator to provide illustrations for a children's book. Text will be provided for you to develop illustrations. I would like to work with you on a 'fixed rate per illustration' basis-please let me know the rate per illustration. Total # of illustrations: 5. This job is to only create black and white outlines. You might have to modify based on feedback to couple of versions. You should be willing to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement and declare Originality of work. Additional requirements: -The illustrations should speak to the kids and their parents and win instant appeal. -Background/illustrations will vary based on the story -Characters-should be from different ethnicities, pleasant, kid-friendly, attractive -Illustrations should be view well in web pages, eBooks, and on Apple, e-reading, and mobile devices -Payment-after completion of illustrations -Delivery schedule-I would like to be involved in design/creation. The project sounds very attractive, I'd be very happy to work on your book. I've been doing illustrations for children and comic books for long years, since art school some 25 years ago. I think I can produce illustrations that you'd be happy with, as I mostly work in ink and pencil lately, and ink is probably the most appropriate medium for this job. Depending on the complexity, the rate per illustration could vary between 50 and 70 USD, and once I have all the necessary information, I can commit to deliver the material in 15 days. This might look as too much time for 5 illustrations, but I draw very carefully and sketch a lot, and I also don't do computer art. Each of the drawings will be original and unique piece, but I would gladly modify any of the drawings so that it meets your projections. Please freely contact me for any questions.
