I would like to make a game like this. I have played a number of them on mobile, simple yet satisfying. I tried this one out from your link and ended up playing it for almost half an hour. I think it has room for improvement as well: more building upgrades, more details for units, and a button to show which building is selected. I am not an expert, just a hobbyist who is self taught, but I can promise you that you will be satisfied by my end product.
