Graphics Designer

4-week Print Graphics Project available, central Bath. Project would suit an experienced graphics designer used to meeting very specific client specs. 3 years experience with print graphics required for the project along with extensive InDesign experience and ability to package up files for print plus. Photoshop and confident handling of all graphics file types, fonts, images etc… required. There are 4 elements to the project: 2 printed Conference Booklets – first approx. 80 pages, the second approx. 50 pages and 2 sets of Conference signage. Both notebooks follow a similar style and examples will be provided. Notebooks: Indesign templates will be provided from the client, for the covers of the Notebooks and for the contents, with fonts and colour palette provided All text copy will be provided to flow into the template to meet client style guide. Up to 3 rounds of copy edits will be made to each Conference Notebook and edits and updates incorporated till the last minute as the files go through approval processes. Photos of conference speakers will need to be dropped into the template Event sponsor logos will need to be dropped in along with up to 30 single page ads, provided as high res PDF files will need to be QA checked and dropped into the templates. Signage: The signage to be produced ranges in size from custom large format 2-3m signs, to a series of A1 signs, down to table top A4 self standard signs. A total of approx. 40 signs will need to be created Design templates will be provided and fonts specified. 3-4 large format signs will be copy heavy, detailed the agenda for the Conference. The majority of the signs will be copy light and mainly graphic, including a floor plan for the exhibit, directions to meeting rooms, sponsor logos etc… 3 rounds of proofing approval will apply with edits and updates till the last minute.
