I run a nonprofit where we take in orphaned and injured black bears, then release them back into the wild once they are ready. I had the thought awhile ago that it would be fun if someone could create an online game that would be similar to going to the State Fair, where you play the fair games. Then I remembered club Penguin and how much fun that was. So my thought is - is it in the realm of possibility to create a game for a nonprofit where people can purchase a membership (Like with Club Penguin - a free version & a paid version) and some of the membership fees could go toward supporting the nonprofit?

Hi there, Matt Sergei here (do call me Matt, please) and what you would like is possible yet ... Club Penguin and similar web portals were made with larger teams of game developers and years of making and enhancing all portal parts (features, not just new mini games etc). So you would have to be more specific what do you need - for a start (and this budget) only few mini games, free playing, donation (subscribers) playing with more - game - options etc. Now I'm a webmaster and IT developer for 26 years, scripting multimedia for little less years too. Not a graphic designer per yet I script (animate) multimedia objects well. Anyway - this should give you proper direction. Have in mind that all will have to be supported as well so some kind of percentage sharing for the development&support person/team could also be a good long-term option.
