first option will create problem when we try to read multiple chip at once. second once is costly require much effect. RFID seems like a great idea, but I will have to do some research to ensure it's foolproof and if interference won't matter. Another idea: embedding with beacons triggered only by a surface signal. Relevant Skills and Experience Electronics experience and wireless experience. I can help with the hardware, electricals and the code.
