Excel (VBA) – Minimum Number After Specified Value – Time Series Analysis

The project is to write a function in VBA in Excel to identify the lowest value in a column of temperatures (which are time-stamped in a separate column) after a specific value occurs. The time-stamps are in Column A and increase with time and the recorded temperatures are listed in Column B. The script needs to take a prescribed temperature value (in Cell B1) and run through each of the temperatures in Column B. If the relevant specified temperature in B1 is not reached, the script should output ‘Not found in range’ in cells B3, C3 and D3. If a value in Column B is found which is equal to or lower than the specified value, the script should record the details of the first instance where this occurs (Excel Row Number (in Cell B3), Timestamp from Column A (in Cell C3) and Temperature from Column B (in Cell D3)) and then proceed to run through each of the subsequent recorded temperatures. The script should identify the lowest temperature value which has occurred after the value in B1 and then record the details of this lowest value (Excel Row Number (in Cell B4), Timestamp from Column A (in Cell C4) and Temperature from Value B (in Cell D4)). The number of pairs of timestamps and recorded temperatures is variable from workbook to workbook so the VBA script needs to take this into account. Generally there are around 200 recorded timestamps and recorded temperatures. Please could the VBA function be called by clicking on a box labelled ‘Low Value’?
