The project was a success and I was able to monitor intrinsic PEEP, plateau pressure, tidal volume ,compliance and resistance ,inhalation and exhalation air temperature and oxygen as well as carbon dioxide concentration. Hi In 1988 I designed in India, Pulse Oximeter, though based primarily on Ohmeda Inc. design, the algorithm, uP and most of the hardware was different. In 1991 I developed an EKG unit with basic alarm diagnostics. In 1995 developed the most popular indigenous ICU ventilator in India. After a more than a decade of interval from electro-medical equipment design I was commissioned to develop integrated networked health monitoring unit, but my sponsors were unable to compete in price with imported product from China and refurbished products. I have complete laboratory for design and testing of complex embedded system products. I only appeared in FL in between gaps of full time jobs, I had excellent experiences, twice I was recruited directly by companies from FL. My bad experience are with those who initially say they have all the resources and mid project they go off the RADER. Suddenly after months they reappear and start complaining I have not collaborated. Some of them even had the nerve to complain officially and then back off when I counter them, it is wastage of my resources. 'The right customer is always right'. Just as on one side , the service provider should be well tested, on the other hand I will prefer technical specification, timeline and responsibility to be clearly defined with justifiable flexibility.
