I would like to transform a usual A4 scanner (a flatbed scanner) into an UV Scanner :
(what I mean is that I would like have an A4 scanner but instead of the normal light source ,to replace the source with a Ultraviolet light source)
Explications :
let's say that we buy a A4 Scanner device from Canon or HP (old models or new models, preferable new models) and the scanner has a normal light source ; What I want is that instead to use the normal light source, to change the normal light source with a Ultraviolet Light Source , so , when I scan a document which contain UV features on it , with this scanner to be able to scan the UV features; with normal light source scanners this option is not available this because the UV features are visible just over the UV Light .

I have experience in working with these scanners since they are used to print circuits on photosensitive PCBs. I have used them and I think I can help you with your problem. Im an electrical engineer.
Stay tuned, I'm still working on this proposal.
its possible to accomplish that. just the space could be a lil problem. Im working with copiers and scanners alot so i think we can build such device. But u need to keep the original light source.

Its not a question but a suggestion, the original source of light must be kept and uv source added
