Hello! I would like to try this for $3.30 per 500 words.
1. I am comfortable with almost all general interest subjects. For example, if you were to browse the magazines in a doctor's office you would find articles about health, travel, food, entertainment, architecture, and more. I feel very confident about my ability to proofread and edit such writing. As well, I have graduate level training in creative writing, psychology, and law. My experience with technical or scientific writing is moderate (just a little rusty), so my comfort level with these kinds of projects would be slightly less. Maybe we could try that kind of work after we establish a good working relationship with each other.
2. After I submit my final grades for the classes I taught this semester (i.e., in one week), I will be able to complete 1500-3000+ words per day.
3. I jokingly tell my students, friends, and family that I am a graduate school junkie: I have just been accepted into a Ph.D. program in Experimental Psychology, and I am in the process of completing an MFA in English/Poetry. I am the editor of a poetry journal (both online and print), and unlike most literary journal editors, I actually offer suggestions and publish edited poems on occasion. I have also been teaching composition to college freshmen for the last 2 years, so I spend a lot of time thinking about the best ways to (teach my students how to) proofread and/or edit. Finally, I am a bit of a Germanophile. I like to like my employers, so I hope you choose me!
Best,
Julie Ann
