I would redraw this project in Autodesk Revit, in which I'm a proficient and expert user. Working in Revit is absouletly much faster and accurate than any other 2d cad and while providing a complete set of dwg files in true AutoCAD format (AutoCAD and Revit are both Autodesk software), consistent set of layers in the AIA standard. Another advantage is that I could promptly modify my work as per your comments. No problem working in imperial units. I assume you need ALL the content in the pdfs, including notes, equipment plans, details, interior elevations, etc. but if there is something you do not require, just let me know and I will adjust my price accordingly.
