This is an easy job for the right person. There is no code to deliver. All you need to do is join me online and help me learn how to do some specific Sharepoint-related development tasks. I am a software developer and consultant with many years experience, but I am new to Sharepoint and need to accomplish some specific tasks quickly. I have my development machine set up with Sharepoint 2010, Visual Studio 2010 and Visual Studio 2012 (take your pick), Sharepoint Designer. Background: I am creating a Sharepoint solution to be deployed as a .wsp file. This is a farm solution, not a sandbox solution. As part of the solution, I need to create two custom views of the Document Library. I would also like to modify the default and flat views of the Document Library to provide clickable buttons to easily switch among the views. These new and modified views are to be deployed site-wide to all document libraries. I also need these new and modified views for Search Results. First Task: Initially, I have one specific task that I need your help with. I need you to show me how to modify the default view of the Document Library and deploy this modified default view as a .wsp file. The modification does not have to be anything big. It could just be adding a <div> tag that contains an <a href>, and changing some of the default html and css, for example. We need to modify the view at the lowest level, in other words, we need to be change the html and add javascript, including calls to jquery. We also need to add <script> tags for javascript and <link> tags for css to the <head>, just for this view, not site-wide for all pages. Your qualifications: You understand the first task as described above, and know how to do it well enough to help me complete it online when we share my computer screen using join.me. Extensive experience with creating and deploying solutions for Sharepoint 2010, using .NET, C#, and Visual Studio 2010. Experience creating and modifying Sharepoint XSLT template files and related files and resources to create custom views. Excellent English skills and communication abilities. Availability to work between the hours of 10 am and 6 pm Eastern US time. This is initially a 1 hour project for this one simple task. But if we work together well, I would like to continue to hire you as needed for 1-2 hour periods for help with other Sharepoint-related programming tasks.
