As i have spent four years studying Horticulture - i am inclined to writing about plants, and doing so in a manner which is not so sophisticated that it deters the common reader as they feel they need a degree to even understand all the Latin terminology they are seeing before their eyes, but simple yet elegant enough to hold attention though i am truly not limited to this Niche - i am simply stating preference.
To help keep my writing standards high enough for your satisfaction, i will be using The McGraw-Hill desk reference for Editors by K.D Sullivan and Merilee Eggleston,
The Chicago Manual of style 16th edition,
Handbook for Proofreading by Laura Killen Anderson,
Butcher's Copy-editing by Judith Butcher, Caroline Drake and Maureen Leach,
Webster's new pocket dictionary - the project editor: Jonathan L. Goldman.
Roget's 21st century thesaurus (3rd edition),
Copyediting and Proofreading for dummies by Suzanne Gilad,
What Editors do by Peter Ginna,
English sentence structure by Andrew Radford,
The writing life by Annie Dillard,
The elements of style by William strunk and E.B. white,
The creative life by Eric Butterworth
to help aid my decisions.
Now i am not saying that i know these books by heart, i am simply giving you more insight into what is inside of me.
I am truly serious about deadlines and am willing to get started as soon as you are, i will not allow my project completion rate to drop below 100%, please allow me this opportunity and you will not be disappointed.
