I require firmware to be written for the MicroChip PIC24F series processor. The unit is made up of the following:-
2 x UART (GSM Modem + X-Bee Wireless Module)
3 x SPI Devices (EEPROM, LCD Display, Metering Device)
3 x Interrupt (2 x Function Push-Buttons, 1 x Pulse Input)
The GSM Modem connect via GPRS to the server. This is bi-directional comms between the server and the device.
The X-Bee module communicates with remote devices. This is di-directional comms between the device and the remote units (Max 10 remote units)
EEPROM on the SPI bus is to hold various dynamic parameters that can be changed.
LCD Display on the SPI bus is a 16 character 2 line display. (EA DOGM162x-A from Electronic Assembly GMBH. [url removed, login to view])
Metering device on the SPI bus is an electricity metering device. (SA9903 from Sames)
The 2 x Push Buttons allow the user to control the display.
The Pulse Input is to be counted and stored in RAM.
A number of Tx and Rx strings are received and transmitted by the PIC micro via the GSM modem and the X-Bee module. These strings contain certain data that must be processed by the PIC Micro.
Should you express interest in this project, I will forward full specs.
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
