I have been usinf Linux for 7 years, Ubuntu/Debian being my favorite distribution. I have skills in BASH, Python, C, and other programming languages. My daily work is to set up and maintain servers, of all types: high availability (nginx, php-fpm, backuppc, xen, load balancing), backups, security, mail servers, setup of various things As an IT profesionnal, I know that properly making backups is a key to succeed in the business. With my scripts and tools I'll be using ,you will be able to restore a single file or the whole backup in the matter of a few minutes. Also, everything will be done automatically: you won't have to press "backup" everyday, one will be made everyday when there's not much visitors on your website, it will be externalized on an FTP so that if your disk fails or if you get hacked the Backup doesn't get compromised. Hi there, First of all, I'd much prefer to use python or PHP at worst rather than shell script. Also, it's been a while since I've used aws and I don't have an active account there so I expect you to provide one. Regarding the script, I'm not experienced in puppet or devop tools so I'm not sure how much capable they're concerning this use case but if you prefer, the script can read node names, and other variables if need be, from a json file. That'd be more extendable and easier to maintain. Still though it's your call and we can handle this as you prefer. I can start as soon you award the project and expect to be done within a few hours. Hi . You should consider using Ansible, then you can create new instances from one Amazon Machine image or from blank image and configure it as you need .

Using python api call we can get it done, we can create 3 nodes in amazon and we can get the exact hostname and ip to connect.
