I am looking for a French to English translator / Interpreteur. Please read carefully. Main responsibilities are: •Provides interpretation and translation (some medical term perhaps) services for community service providers •Provides services in a variety of settings to include employment, marketing, social service, and other settings as requested; •Provides appropriate documentation and reports for services. •Assists with home work related to interpretation or translation assignments as requested; •Participates (REMOVED BY FREELANCER.COM DUE TO VIOLATION) conferences long range planning to assure future growth and development of the company; •Represents our company in any (REMOVED BY FREELANCER.COM DUE TO VIOLATION) conference with other translators as required; •Any other duties required. Accountabilities: Our company is a multilingual interpretation, translation and cultural outreach organization. The department provides educational and professional services to foster cultural understanding and appreciation, promote multicultural diversity, and empower communities to embrace new populations. Qualifications: •High School diploma (French), GED or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor's degree in marketing or foreign languages. •Experience working with other translators. •Superior verbal/written multi-lingual skills (French, English and German-optional) •Strong interpersonal skills. •Strong knowledge and understanding of health and education related services, multicultural orientation, and community resources related to refugee, immigrant, or limited English speaking populations Interpreter/ Translator Job Description Additional Employment Expectations: Employees will be required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor.
