I'm looking to have a Powershell script written which will: 1) monitor a folder for new/modified files, 2)read the file, calculate the average of specified fields, and 3)write out a new text file in a subfolder containing the original fields and the calculated averages. The files which will be dropped off in the monitored folder will be in a text (.csv) file. Each file will have header information and rows of data. Each row will contain a fixed number of fields - a time stamp, record number, and a number of floating point data points. The script could read a configuration file which will identify the data points which need to be averaged (the number of fields could vary), calculate the averages, and write them to a new text file. We are in need of a PowerShell Script to create a folder in all users mailboxes on Office 365, then copy contacts to that folder from either a csv or if possible a public folder. The script would need to have the ability to avoid creating duplicates. So if we routinely run this script to update the contacts in this folder it will just update changes and not create duplicates etc. Alternatively if it's easier to script a public folder syncing to all users personal contacts that would work for what we are looking for. The process should allow us to schedule using windows task scheduler. The process should kick off a backup of each database, monitor that backup, handle errors by emailing a notification to a preconfigured account, once the backup is done, download the backup to the local machine, remove the old local database instance, then run the sql package tool to restore.
