We have a budgeting sheet. We paste csv from bank and credit card statements into a transactions tab. We categorize the rows. Then for each month tab, I would like you to add the dollar amount and date of a transaction to populate under the correct category of the month tab. See attached file. There is a Tx tab with transactions. Not all are categorized, but you see the categories we want in the January tab across the top. I have also provided an example in January tab of what should happen under the groceries category (which you can delete when formulas are needed, it was only an example). This needs to happen with every category from Tx into January. We will do the same thing for each subsequent month: a Feb transaction tab that populates under the correct category.
