PayPal Deposits

PayPal deposits are transferred to your Freelancer.com account in real time, except for eChecks, which happen when your PayPal balance is not enough to cover the payment and the funds will come from the linked bank account instead.

You can create PayPal deposits to your Freelancer.com account in the following currencies: USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD, NZD, HKD, SGD, and INR. Due to Indian regulations, however, only the PayPal accounts registered in India are authorized to make deposits in INR.

The processing fee for PayPal deposits are calculated at $0.30 USD + 2.3%, or its approximate equivalent in other currencies.

To deposit using PayPal:

     1.  Click your profile photo thumbnail from the website header, and select Add Funds. 

     2.  Choose PayPal.

     3.  Enter the deposit currency and amount.

     4.  Click Confirm.

     5.  Log in to your PayPal account, and follow the on-screen instructions.
