PayPal eCheck deposits
A PayPal deposit* will be sent as an eCheck if all of the following conditions are true:
- Your PayPal balance is not enough to cover the payment you are trying to make,
- There is no debit/credit card linked to your PayPal account, and
- There is a bank account linked to your PayPal account.
Since eChecks are electronic transfers from your bank, it will take 3-6 business days before they reflect on your Freelancer.com account.
If adding funds through PayPal takes longer than this, scroll down to contact us with the following details:
- Amount and currency of deposit
- PayPal email address
- PayPal transaction ID
*PayPal deposits have a processing fee of $0.30 USD + 2.3% (of the deposited amount).
