Hello,

I'm trying to copy a text file from a VM that can only be accessed through a web interface. The VM can be fully interacted with, however, the VM is isolated from the internet and the only way of moving information between the VM and the client PC is through a VM clipboard. Anything that is copied locally inside the VM will also be copied to the clipboard toolbar, this is so that you can move text between the client and the VM easily.

This VM clipboard can only hold a maximum of 32KB of text data, so copying a large text file would take a long time if done manually.

I need to copy a large amount of text using this function (250 MB text file). That's why I'd like someone to write a script that can do this automatically. Here's a suggestion of how this could work but this can be improved upon of course.

1- A script inside the VM copies the first 65000 characters from the text file to the clipboard. This is also automatically transferred to the VM toolbar.

2- A second script on the client PC copies the text from the VM web toolbar to a local text editor on the PC and then presses an arbitrary button to signal the VM script to start copying the next 65000 characters from the text file.

3- The VM script copies the next set of characters and so on.

AutoHotKey can be used for the client PC.
